GoHighLevel October 2026 Price Changes: What Actually Changed

HighLevel raised some US carrier SMS fees on October 1, 2026 and will raise select international SMS, voice and phone number rental prices on October 13. US and Canada plan prices, the $0.00747 SMS base rate, and the A2P 10DLC fees are not affected by either change.

Key takeaways

  • October 1, 2026: HighLevel's US carrier fees rose for Verizon (outbound SMS $0.0045 to $0.0050) and the 'Other' carrier category ($0.0040 to $0.0042). AT&T's fee is unaffected.
  • October 13, 2026: select international outbound SMS, voice minutes and phone number rentals rise in specific countries. US and Canada rates are not on either list.
  • HighLevel's own SMS base rate ($0.00747 per segment), plan prices ($97/$297/$497) and A2P 10DLC registration fees are unchanged by both updates.
  • Accounts with an active fixed-price agreement on an affected route keep their contracted rate for the duration of that agreement.

HighLevel changed two sets of carrier-driven fees in October 2026: US carrier SMS fees on October 1, and select international SMS, voice and phone number rental prices on October 13. Neither change touches HighLevel’s own plan prices, its base SMS rate, or A2P 10DLC registration fees. This page covers exactly what moved and whether it affects you.

October 1, 2026: US carrier fee update

HighLevel’s changelog lists two US carrier groups affected, both for outbound SMS:

Carrier Before After
Verizon: outbound SMS (long code, short code, toll-free, Authy and Verify), outbound RCS $0.0045 $0.0050
Other carriers: outbound SMS (long code, short code Group B, toll-free, Authy and Verify) $0.0040 $0.0042
Other carriers: Short Code Group A $0.0025 No change

HighLevel attributes the change to its downstream carriers’ own delivery and infrastructure costs, not a pricing decision on HighLevel’s side. AT&T’s rate and HighLevel’s own $0.00747 per-segment base SMS rate are unaffected. If most of your contacts are on AT&T or T-Mobile, this update likely changes your bill by only a fraction of a cent per message; if a large share are on Verizon, the increase is $0.0005 per outbound text.

Our GoHighLevel pricing calculator already uses the updated $0.0050 figure as its high-end carrier estimate, so it reflects this change.

October 13, 2026: international SMS, voice and number pricing

HighLevel is also updating list prices for select international routes, per its SMS and phone number changelog and voice changelog. A few examples from the published lists:

Item Country Before After
Outbound SMS Albania $0.1167 $0.1419
Phone number, local Angola $1.25/mo $1.70/mo
Phone number, mobile Chile $10.00/mo $11.40/mo
Phone number, local Colombia $14.00/mo $17.50/mo
Phone number, toll-free Colombia $25.00/mo $28.60/mo

Voice minute prices also change for a list of countries that includes Argentina, Israel, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Puerto Rico, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates. US and Canada rates are not on either changed list.

If your account only texts, calls and rents numbers in the US, this update does not change your bill. If you run international numbers or campaigns for any of the listed countries, check HighLevel’s changelog pages directly for your specific country’s new rate, since the full lists are longer than the examples above.

If you have a fixed-price agreement

HighLevel’s changelog notes that an active fixed-price agreement covering an affected route keeps its contracted rate for the agreement’s duration. If you’re unsure whether your account has one, check with HighLevel support or your agency’s billing contact rather than assuming either direction.

What hasn’t changed

  • Plan prices: Starter $97, Unlimited $297, Agency Pro $497 per month.
  • HighLevel’s own SMS rate: $0.00747 per segment.
  • A2P 10DLC registration fees: $22.50 to $64 one-time, plus the monthly campaign fee.
  • Local US phone number rental: $1.15 a month.

FAQs

Did GoHighLevel's plan prices go up in October 2026?

No. Both the October 1 and October 13, 2026 changes are carrier pass-through fees for messaging, voice and phone numbers, not the $97, $297 or $497 subscription prices, which are unchanged.

Does the October 1 carrier fee update affect my SMS costs?

Only if your contacts are on Verizon or the carriers HighLevel groups under 'Other'. Verizon's outbound SMS fee rose from $0.0045 to $0.0050 per message, and the Other category rose from $0.0040 to $0.0042. AT&T and HighLevel's own $0.00747 per-segment base rate did not change.

Is my GoHighLevel account affected by the October 13 international pricing update?

Only if you text, call or rent phone numbers in the specific countries HighLevel listed, such as Albania, Angola, Chile, Colombia, Argentina, Israel, Italy, Mexico and several others. US and Canada rates are not on either changed list.

Why do GoHighLevel's carrier fees keep changing?

HighLevel says these updates come directly from its downstream carriers responding to their own delivery and infrastructure costs, not from HighLevel's own pricing decisions. Carrier-driven updates like this have happened several times in 2026, including in May and July.
